Mairead Mackle Wins Entrepreneur Of the Year at Irish Tatler Women of the Year Awards 2019

Mairead Mackle has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year, Sponsored by Boots Ireland at the annual Irish Tatler Women of the Year Awards 2019, held in the Shelbourne Hotel Dublin on Saturday night.  The event was a celebration of the talented and inspirational women from across the Country from all sectors, industries and walks of life.

Founder and CEO of Tarasis Enterprises, a complementary suite of businesses including HCIL, Fabraco and Community Interest Group Evolve – Mairead’s businesses tackle real social issues like homelessness, healthy ageing, care solutions, emerging technologies and renewable energies.  With a team of 1.200 passionate and professional staff, they deliver 6,000 calls to over 60,000 clients and provide 2,600 crisis beds per night to those who are vulnerable and at risk of homelessness in communities across the country.

Recognised for her commitment to innovation, diversity and to businesses that make a real social impact, Mairead was amongst a dynamic group of awardees on the night.

Speaking about the award she said, “I am very humbled to receive the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  There is such a wealth of female talent across Ireland making significant contributions to the Irish economy, to our knowledge pool, our capabilities and skillsets - in all disciplines and industries.  Tonight has been a fantastic celebration of this.  I’d like to thank my own team, who not only understand my passion and vision but who always go that extra mile to make a real difference to our clients and in the communities across Ireland that we operate in
